BREAD AND FISH...COINS AND BILLS...OR MIRACLES OF FAITH? Over the last twenty-one years the Gleaners Community Kitchen has served over 300,000 meals to the hungry among us, thanks to small, but consistent, cash donations. Every donation — no matter how small — is significant when God is at work. Please leave your offering for those in need with the fish and loaves at the front aisle.
COMMUNITY CARE at St. John's is provided by a group of trained volunteers who will make visits to shut-ins and those in the hospital, and also send caring notes to those who request them in the Prayer Request Book at the back of the church. If you know of a person who is unable to get out and who would like a visit from a parish member, please let Community Care know by calling Mattie Bicknell, 396-2074.
CREATIVE ARTS AND CRAFTS are featured on the first Saturday of every month. Georgia Carney invites adults and children (accompanied by adults) to come to Withington House any time between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Come and go as your schedule permits. The next session will be held Saturday, April 3.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME starts next Sunday, March 14! Before you go to bed Saturday night, remember to set your clock one hour ahead!
